Welcome to Strandlopertjie Aftercare

For the next year or two your child will be in the care of teachers who will endeavor to develop your child as a whole.

Strandlopertjie Aftercare intends to provide a safe and child friendly environment for you child to develop.  We believe in providing a happy and safe "play centre" where your child can unwind after a strenuous day at school.

We make provision for Pre-grade R to Grade 2.

Aftercare hours: 06H45 - 17H00

Waiting Class: 06H45 - 14H30

PROGRAMME:

06h45 - 08H00: Waiting Class

13H30 - 13h45: Arrival (afternoon)

13H45 - 14H10: Lunch

14H10 - 15H10: Homework

15H10 - 16H10: Free play (outdoor)

16H10 - 16H40: Free play (indoor)

16H40 - 17H00: Departure

Aftercare closed during school holidays.

FEES

  • Aftercare fees: R850.00 per month
  • Aftercare fees are payable for 11months, thus 3 January to November.
  • 5% Discount if full amount is paid before 28 February.
  • Fees payable strictly in advance.
  • FEES PAYABLE BEFORE OR ON THE 3RD DAY OF EACH MONTH.
  • Your child will not be allowed to attend aftercare with fees in arrears.

Payment of school fees:

  • No cash payment to be sent to school, only:
  • Internet EFT
  • Debit Order
  • Direct cash deposits are not preferred, because of the high banking fees.

PLEASE USE YOUR CHILD'S NAME AS THE REFERENCE

ABSENTEEISM / ILLNESS:

  • Children who are ill must be nursed at home until they are well.
  • When your child is ill, and will be absent, please inform us at 022-714 1484
  • NO medication to be sent to school

LUNCH BOXES:

  • Please send healthy snacks to school e.g. brown/whole wheat sandwiches, dried or fresh fruit, cheese, fruit juice, etc.
  • No sweets or chips from Monday to Thursday.
  • Hotdogs on sale every Friday @ R16 each.
  • Please discuss birthday celebrations with your child’s teacher.

TOYS:

Please do not send toys to school.

CLOTHES:

Please mark all clothes and shoes.

  • Apron, clearly marked
  • Face cloth, clearly marked
  • Bean bag, clearly marked
  • Plastic cup, clearly marked
  • 1 box “tissues”
  • 1box plasters
  • 1(500ml) handwash
  • 10 rolls toilet paper
  • 4 Paper towels
  • 10 black garbage bags
  • 1 ream copy paper (500)
